Implementation, Training & Support

Implementation

RockSolid is a complete turnkey solution. Implementation takes just three days on average — not just installation, but from the moment you open the box to the moment your people are proficient on the system. It's a benchmark that we take pride in, because the sooner our customers can begin using their new software, the sooner they see a return on their investment.

Introductory training on the software is provided through interactive, Web-based classes; you won’t have to worry about taking time away from your business or the expense of bringing a trainer on-site. ECi will even convert the basic business data from your current system for use in RockSolid POS.

Training

RockSolid POS users will soon have access to training resources like an online customer portal and a quick-fix database. ECi also hosts periodic regional and national users meetings, which offer classroom-style training and the chance network with dealers from around the country.

ECi’s experienced technicians are available to help if you have any questions or issues concerning the software. And when you call, you’ll speak to a qualified technical specialist who understands your business as well as our software. We offer RockSolid POS technical support from Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Eastern Time, and from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturdays. We also offer after hours emergency support for a small additional cost.

RockSolid POS software is designed to run on any standard PC running Microsoft Windows XP (Professional or better recommended).

Recommended:

An Intel-compatible computer with at least:

• 80 GB hard drive with at least 10 GB available (Serial ATA/SCSI interface is usually faster)
• SVGA monitor and video card (128 MB) capable of screen resolution 1024x768 (15" or larger recommended)

• Backup Device (Rev™ Drive, Zip Drive, Tape Drive, etc.) — strongly recommended
